I'm afraid that this is one subject where we will have to agree to disagree, Rachel.
Stuart asked good questions of the lady from The BDA. The connections quiz has to be better that '10 things to Fall off...'. Stuart is knowledgeable and allows the music to take centre stage. During the times that I have listened to CE, I've found that it is the other way round, ie the music comes a poor second to CE's iniane drivel. Still, it wouldn't do for us all to like the same. Currently got 'Spectral Morning' by Steve Hackett in the ear buds. _________________ Geddon

Yeah it wouldn't do if we all liked the same stuff. I just have, well; I don't dislike the guy, why would I?...... I just find him really hard-work to listen to, in a mild, makes me feel quite down <sigh> is it worth carrying on, kind of way. That takes some doing for me, I'm a pretty upbeat on life, I cannot put my finger on why I feel like that about his show, I just do. So I turn it up for the music and down for the chat, while I'm driving, and at home I just don't listen. I know lots of people do like him . I just don't get it, he's not for me.
Currently ........ I hope that I don't fall in love with you- Juilet Turner... John Prine is next .. One Red Rose.... |

Well it was great while it lasted, thanks Stuart for 2 weeks of excellent music, interesting interviews and a quiz that really made you think. I for one will miss an adult Drivetime, oh well back to R4, BBC Radio Lincolnshire, Lincs FM and Planet Rock or The Jazz, if DAB available.
