Well its not for everyone. I dislike greatly the two shows preceeding Drivetime (Mr Vine & Wright respectively) so I know how it feels. Classic fm is a good refuge for me when they are on. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I caught a bit of SW's show this afternoon - the bit where him and Miles Mendoza were wittering away about something - after five or six minutes of that I'd virtually lost the will to live.
It remains to be seen as to whether the 'Drivetime Dress' will surface again - did CE say he'd pay the £5000 out of his own money? _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Yes me Lord, I thought they were great, the rapport between them was just so natural as a hand in a glove, brilliant,IMHO

I can listen to Jeremy Vine, though I sometimes think that, perhaps two hours isn't enough for a news based show as it does seem somewhat rushed at times. Perhaps with another hour more time could be spent on each topic. Then, I'm afraid I have to wave bye-bye to R2 till 7:00pm.
Interesting that you dislike Steve Wright's show but not Evans. Both being 'I'm the leader of the gang' type shouters. |

I thought so too BB. Mark said it was Noddy Holder on tonight's show, those two are a good double act too. |

I looked on the R2 Homepage at about 5pm and it showed Stuart as doing the show, hence my earlier post. What a let-down! I was hoping that Evans would never come back; like Helen and others it's the shouting (as well as the fact that I can't stand his voice or the content of his "show"!!) that turns me and my radio off. _________________ MiS |
