Why is the station trailing both Wake Up To Wogan and Jonathan Ross Saturday Show? It's not as if the listeners know they are on and in the wilderness of the big old wireless.
I have a funny feeling the network has got the wind of how the Rajars ( Out Next Month) and they are looking very healthy all around, so they are streamlining certain shows? |

I'll be honest and say I don't understand the original post!

What does streamlining mean? Cutbacks? How does that tie in with trailers?
Seems to me all the daytime shows (except Jeremy) have had a fair crack at trailers lately - so picking out a trend is impossible. Even Ken Bruce had a trailer! It's probably because there's sod all else worth promoting!
But it's always good to remind listeners the regular presenters are there. It stops audiences drifting away.
If the trailers were anything to do with RAJARS I assume they would hold back till next week to do "we're brilliant" ones again. |

Isn't Dylan back on Radio 2 at 8.30pm on Tuesdays soon. So after the Desmond Carrington theme 1/2 hour we get the Dylan theme hour.
BTW did anyone hear Des play Celine Dion last night? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I think Dylan's back at Easter, stripped across the week like at Christmas.

I wonder if certain contributors will attempt to spin CE's figures again? _________________ Geddon

I'm sick of hearing that Bob Dylan one too. His witicism about love being like a hot bath was amusing at first but I'm fed up of it now. |

Sometimes, the trailers are more entertaining than the shows. |

These days I sometimes find that by the time the actual show comes around, I've lost the will to listen to it because the trailer has been played so much, I never want to hear the punchline again! |

Ross and Wogans ones are. The festive one was good too. I sure they have made some effort to make them sound better than the old style ones. |
