I'm ready for a pint of ale please. In view of the cold weather, I'd better make it a pint of 'Old Brass Monkey'!! |

We used to buy apfelcorn and keep it in the freezer as it was too sweet to drink otherwise, you had to drink it down in one go and the locals would cheer you on, in our local bar.

PS I have been teetotal since 1980! Maybe it was the apfelcorn? _________________ Old Bikers Never Die, our leathers just get tighter! |

Apfelcorn is a type of apple snaps, very sweet and strong, very pleasant ice cold, but very sickly at room temperature.

July 1st in England, April 2nd in Wales.
However, the smoke is so ingrained into the fabric of every pub that I reckon that, until they're defumigated and redecorated you'll still come home after a night out smelling kippered. _________________ Ron |

...july seems so far away!
you would have thought the places would still smell of smoke - but believe it's fine and so much nicer than sitting thier inhaling that rank smoke all night _________________ I was trying to daydream, but my mind kept wandering. |

Pint of 6X... had a few of them over the last few weekends, and it goes down nicely, but gives a slight head in the mornings. |
