indeed . I think he could be a radio legend. Who else could have someone like Barry Gibb walk off a talk show. |

Wasnt that early on in the run of the chatshow. IIRC Anderson was the first to do a comedy chatshow on BBC or ITV and guests, especially foreign ones, didnt know what to expect when they turned up. Gibbs expected a Parkinson type interview from the off. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I think the Gibbs have rather large ego's. I don't think they can't laugh at themselves very easily. Strange after one getting married to Lulu.
Not having ago at them but frankly not in my record collection.
eh eh eh eh staying alive. |

Yes they are a bit thin skinned. Wasnt it Ross who made the tasteless joke about Stayin Alive when one of the brothers died in Florida a couple of years ago? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Yes it was, the same Ross who regularly speaks in an imitated foreign accent and pokes fun at foreigners but gets away with it. |

I think that was Graham Norton, I thought the joke was in poor taste actually given that Maurice had passed away. |
