Welcome Jill. As a matter of interest, do you use Internet Explorer on Windows? If so - which version of Explorer and which Windows? It seems to me that this may be partly to blame for some people's difficulties in registering. |

Hi Colin
Totally useless with technology. All I know is that I was trying to register from work initially, so no idea other than Windows XP. I managed to register at home and I have Windows XP and Explorer 8 (I think) and that went through fine.
Don't know if that helps at all! |

Jill - the fact that it worked at home but not at work indicates that they're doing something to prevent it (network firewalls, etc). That's a reasonable explanation so nothing to worry about.
My wife, at her place of work, can't get onto a lot of "interactive" sites like forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc., so nothing new. It depends on the defences that the individual network admins impose upon the systems they manage. |
