The Heat ad must be the most insensitive thing in ages: 'Lonely? Cold? Buy Heat Magazine and SAVE A POUNDDDD!' I'm sure the victims of the Haiti disaster will be glad of a crappy little gossip rag.
By the way, I loved Charlie Brooker slating 'Live From Studio Five'! This week he included the hosts' comments on Simon Cowell's cheridee song. The one on the right said, 'Oh, it's too slow - they should have gone for something more upbeat'.
Brooker asked 'What, like Come On Eileen?' _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

This episode was also repeated on BBC-2. I liked the Week In Bullshit bit about N-Dubz! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Yes, I enjoy Newswipe but also find myself getting a bit depressed by it. |

I love newswipe, I thought his dig this week at journalists standing outside dark buildings reporting on nothing was right on the button. |

Yes, indeed. This has always been one of Terry Wogan's favourite topics, too - such as the local TV reporter standing in a flood in order to do a piece to camera telling us that the high street in which he/she is standing in is... er... flooded. |
