Mark,
People are answering your queries on here and you are responding very poorly
For the record Mark, I have a moderator button on each posting which tells me IP address and lists all IP addresses used by a poster. Since you have been a member you've used 22 different IP addresses, so I hope you understand now that you, like most folk, have dynamic IP.
Because of that, tracking trolls is a bit more difficult nowadays. New registrations here always have to exchange an e-mail with the Moderator, this at least allows me to capture the IP address of the new registrant at that time and compare with known troublesome addresses.

Thank you John. I was, for the record, attempting to be helpful but with Mark at least I was obviously wasting my time. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

John-After seeing the antics of Scott and his aliases on other sites recently I hope he is not allowed back on this site.
It is interesting to note the current lack of posters on the BBC site re Radio 2. I hope this changes going forward. |

I had a look into that forum a couple of days ago (after seeing the link here) and it seemed a bit same old, same old to me. I never really was that bothered with it too much anyhow but the antics of a certain Martin Scott were enough to put me off. Is there a screw loose there somewhere?
On second thoughts, don't take the trouble to answer that last question. I think I know the answer! _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

Thanks for your help, but sometimes people are very sarcastic on here and not really helping, just trying to be better than me. Does anyone really know who I'm? NO... One thing I ain't a nasty person, and have feelings like others do.. Thanks again Colby and John. That's off my chest we can move on.

I don't think it's a case of wanting to be better, but just trying to help, it's what I'm doing really, but I just get exasperated doing it

Mark O, you are one of the reasons this forum keeps going! We all like to 'josh' our friends sometimes. It's just banter! |

I'm afraid he's getting on my nerves now, he's outstayed his welcome!
You beat me to posting something about him this time John!
I think you're right as well Mark!

Seems that Average40, Moggy1967, Ordinarylistener99 and few others are a little suspicious. |

I met Moggy .... a few years ago in Leicester ( he's a huge Alex fan), he's a nice chap, nothing like you would imagine from the way he posts. I'll dig out a picture of our meeting and post it tomorrow. |

I can't be bothered.. I haven't got the motivation to post endless messages about Radio2 anymore because most of it is either boring or annoying..

I don't post that much over there, there appear to be a lot of windup merchants.
On the other hand someone I've known for more years than I'll admit to, we worked together for a while too, started posting about Johnnie Walker over there. I'd lost contact and in what I thought a joke he said 'shall I say hello to Johnnie from you when I go to his one man show at the Sage in Gateshead last Thursday?'! I said 'yes do'!
Apparently in his question (part of the second half of the show) he put on the bottom 'Helen May says hello'. Johnnie said where was I? Geoff replied 'in Manchester' and Johnnie said 'tell her I said hello back'.
So it has it's uses!

Mark, there's only about 20 people in the entire world interested enough in Radio 2 to post on any messageboard anywhere. So the reason, I would guess, that some people from here post on the R2 messageboard, is the same reason why, sometimes you just fancy a different pub, you hope that you might meet someone new and interesting but when you get there, you discover that everyone from your local had the same idea!!!
Anyway this Moggy/pieman chap, he's a nice little fella- lots of the things he writes are refferences to Alex's show... like the Shoe... oh we love the shoe.
I "met" moggy on a messageboard several years ago and we got chatting , as you do, he said, that he'd like to meet me, being young free and single at the time, and at the other end of the country, it was the rock 'n' roll thing to do, to get in my mid-life-crisis and drive- stopping only to pick up my bodygaurd on the way. We met, we had a chat, we had chips - he gave me his autograph, I drove home again. My bodygaurd took this picture, I've blanked out Moggy's face, cos it would be unfair to identify him on here.
click for pic
you missed it.

Very
I popped over to the R2 board for a rare visit.
You can tell that the mods/hosts are given the weekend off!
I'm always saddened that a small number people who either have personal issues or who just delight in winding others up spoil things for the overwhelming majority. It even happens here occasionally.
I know not everyone can be sweetness and light, and the world would be a less colourful place, and all that, and it is perhaps better that the arguments are conducted in the relative anonymity and safety of the virtual world, rather than on the street, but even so... _________________ Ron |
