Looking forward to hearing news soon about whether Sarah Kennedy has a long term future at Radio 2. |

If you do indeed have a hotline to Mr Shennan's office, please can you ask him to sort out the Radio 2 breakfast slot next January so's I am not woken up with a start with what ammounts to a banshee howl! If you do manage this, I'll be eternally gratefull! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

My human counterpart, Mr Shennan, says you should set your alarm for 06:45 - you'll be woken up by Sarah in a very gentle way, then you'll be wide awake for when Captain Chris comes on ... yay! See, there's always a solution to your problem. If we can be of any further assistance, don't hesitate to ask. |

Yes, there is always a solution Icon, mine is to keep listening to Radio 4 in the morning until 9am. Then to go for a brisk walk until 9.30, and then to switch to Radio 2 to enjoy the wit and warmth of Ken The Bruce. Ah, bliss! |

That's just as good, Briant, maybe you could improve on that by downloading a Podcast/Oddcast to listen to, on your MP3, while you walk.
"Listen while you walk" I think there's song there or at least a jingle.... ... I know.... I'm in training to be a genious |

Maybe you're thinking of 'Music While You Work' circa 1942 |

Sarah did say on Thursdays show that she will be moved back to 7am finish when Chris starts. I wonder what time Dawn Patrol will start? |

I've not asked him.............. yet.
I'm a nightmare to work with - a cold distant workaholic, with a heart of stone, no sense of humour, and I cannot make tea. |

It looks like she's been pushed out the door because of Chris Evans wanting to take over Breakfast early? The BBC is a disgrace if this is happening. |

Surely Dawn Patrol won't run between 6-7am? So maybe it will start at 5.30am, cutting short Alex Lester show. |

Briant, I have a Radio on my I Pod, so if you have one you can enjoy your brisk walk while listening to wake Up to Evans.
As for sarah kennedy, I find her very entertaining. I think she would be rather good on drivetime |

Well Alex does have an Oddcast now, maybe that was the compensation for losing the last half hour of his show after chrimbo. |

Found this on the R2 boards, the host Peta saying that there are "no plans to reduce Sarah Kennedy's airtime on the early breakfast show":
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbradio2/F14126215?thread=6932103&skip=0&show=20#p85851235
So if she is going to finish at 7am, then 1.5 hours before that is 5:30am (that's too early for me )
So yes... they could be using the (P)Oddcast as compensation for being chopped by half an hour. _________________ Fred Hart
