Really enjoyed this programme last Friday. I had no idea that some of the music played was composed by him, though I had always been an admirer of his work. One of my particular favourites was "Where Are You Now My Love" which, as I recall, was the theme tune for a drama series. Can't remember the name though, can anyone help?
The Bill Kenwright slot "Colour my World" was good too. _________________ Minx

Can't remember it being a theme Minx, but if it was ITV maybe all regions didnt get the show? I know we (Tyne Tees at the time) didn't get Crossroads at the start.
I heard the show when it was on earlier in the year, and had no idea that he had written Forget Him which was a hit for Bobby Rydell.
I might just listen again!

Wasn't Tony Hatch the original 'Mr Nasty' talent show judge, for (I believe) New Faces back in the 1970s? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

It was apparently used as the theme for a series called "It's Dark Outside"
http://www.televisionheaven.co.uk/oddman.htm I don't remember it, though I do remember William Mervyn in the later "Mr Rose"
Tony Hatch and Mickie Most shared the "Mr Nasty" role on New Faces. _________________ Ron |

Yeah, and picked one of his own to start with! I hate it when people do that. |

I don't mind, but he didn't sing it did he?
I don't like it if they do that, but if it has a life changing affect it obviously is a 'track of your years'.

Yeah, it's not as bad as some (like Neil Sedaka) who just pick a track off their new album but it still annoys me. |

I remember the serial, which came out a few months before the single did.

I think the reason that Tony Hatch is getting so much publicity is that it's his 70th birthday this month. _________________ Minx
