Listened to much of Dermot o'Leary on Radio 2 this afternoon. I was quite impressed. Good selection of music, well presented.
What was it that followed at 6PM though? Going out?? Unremitiongly awful. I managed only ten minutes of it. What is that about? |

Good to see another poster on here enjoying Dermot O'Leary on a Saturday afternoon.
Simply put his show is good-I enjoy his presentational style and thue format of the show.
Yes Saturday at 6pm-dreadful-gave up after 20 minutes.
Why on earth isn't Richard Allinson given this slot-Allinsons Albums would be great in this time slot. |

I would like to see Johnnie Walkers excellent Sound of the 70's show brought to Saturdays in place off Sounds of the 60's which should be shunted off to late on the weekday schedules somewhere. |

Going Out With Alan Carr is very entertaining. Emma Forbes and Alan Carr input were very impressive. I enjoyed the music and chat. I'm glad Radio 2 have moved on from Russell Brand.. |

I can't stand this! Saturday nights were brilliant with Suzi Q, Johnnie Walker and Gambo and now we have this pure unadulterated drivel...........! Good job I have lots of these shows recorded to listen to again. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

So would I! I can't understand why Suzi Q is buried away at such a late time.
I had assumed things would be better with a new Controller, but it seems not. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

I too was hoping for an improvement with the new controller after the mish-mash that Lesley Douglas created, but I have to agree there is little sign of it so far. I don't think I'll be listening to Mr Carr. That voice will soon do my head in, as the saying goes. How different this is from the start of the decade when I couldn't bear to go out anywhere as there was so much good stuff on saturday Radio 2 that I would miss! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Hands off SOTSix! It's fine where it is. And SOTSev also has a good schedule spot now.
