I was given a lift today and Sunday Love Songs was on the car radio.
These are some of the songs that were played:-
The Boy Does Nothing- Alesha Dixon
Hallelujah- Alexandre Burke
Little Drummer Boy- Terry and Aled
Creative- Leon Jackson
Greatest Day- Take That
Leona Lewis- Run
This is a CARBON COPY of the songs that Steve plays during his weekday show of which there are 15 hours of each week.
Is it too much to ask to have some different music played once a week Steve, and how on Earth can you say some of these are love songs?
I actually quite like Steve as a presenter but he really needs to be told by someone in authority to buck his ideas up and put some effort into playing some different music
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Likewise I was in a car which had this Show on today.
With virtually every record played Wright has to sing- why-it's absolutely pathetic.
Lets hope when the new Producer takes the reins that Steve Wright is given the boot from Sunday mornings. |

Maybe he's just happy Mark? he has a happy outlook on life...I think it's funny sometimes.
Come to think of it, I couldn't imagine Richard "Botox grin" Allinson singing along with tracks.. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

He probably has more respect for the artists and their music. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I should bloody well hope not! Allinson's far too professional for that.
Anyway, The Mediocrity doesn't sing. He wails. And scares the cat.
It's supposed to be Sunday Love Songs for Heaven's sake. How can you start feeling romantic with that Essex whine shrieking in your ear? _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

SLS is just not suitable for ears. It's a tired, nay decrepid format that should be put to sleep as a kindness. _________________ MiS |

Richard would NEVER EVER sing over the records. He's far to professional for that.
That's what sets him apart from that idiot Steve Wright and the dire Sunday Love Songs show-this show is a joke. |

Could we refrain from calling presenters names. I understand the problems with Sunday Love Songs and the one on 21st December was a disgrace. He played play listed and Christmas songs which are not really Love Songs.
Wright obviously thinks he is bigger than the station, or the production staff are scared of him |

I lot of the girls I know and work with really like love songs and there is nothing wrong with the format of the show.
It's just that Steve has turned it into a clone of his weekday shows with the same records and that really shouldn't be allowed |

The format of this show would work much better as a late night show-that way the audience mix would be totally different and hence the music requests played would be much more diverse.
Currently the current show is dominated by pensioners from what I hear-nothing against old folk but this show is in dire need of a makeover. |
