Friday Night With Glen Campbell
Monday 29 December
10:30pm - 12:00am
BBC Radio 2
Another chance to hear country star Glen Campbell in concert for BBC Radio 2, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra and hosted by Paul Gambaccini. Glen performs cover versions of songs by Travis, Green Day and U2 as well as his own classic tracks, including Wichita Lineman, Galveston and Rhinestone Cowboy.

Good programme, but the title is confusing, given that it is on a Monday night. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I've always wondered if that's BBC's excuse for not repeating the FNIMN shows at other times/days |

I forsee another BBC deception scandal.
"BBC claims it's Friday when it's really Monday - many people confused during Xmas holidays" _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

The Radio Times doesn't mention Friday but makes it clear that the programme is a repeat. Seems fair to me.

BBC Radio don't really have many listeners over the holiday periods as people are with family and friends or away. This is why BBC message boards are shut not just for the mods to rest. |

I doubt this sweeping statement is supported by audience figures! _________________ MiS |

I took the extract from the online RT website. Maybe the paper versikon has to cut down the titles to save space. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
