Thought it might be worthwhile mentioning that if you a James Bond fan then you might be interested in this.
The excellent Richard Allinson on BFBS Radio 2 has been running a number of themed shows this last week.
On Wednesday 3rd January 2007 his whole show was devoted to the music and trivia of James Bond since the first film Dr No.
As well as playing all the well known hits from the franchise series he also played some of the less well songs featured in the films.
The show is covered on the Listen Again feature on BFBS Radio 2 and will be there until approximately 9am on Wednesday 10th January.
If you like Bond, just crank up the volume, sit back and let the music/show wash all over you.
It is superb radio entertainment. Don't miss it. |

Hmm. Sounds interesting, though I'm not sure the "lesser-known" Bond themes are any good! |

OK. So hows about this old chestnut - 'What's your fav Bond song?' <groan >
From Russia With Love
We Have All the Time In The World <OHMSS>
Tomorrow Never Dies
Live And Let Die
You Know My Name <Casino Royale - which I didn't like but I love now>

It has to be the classic "Gold Finger" for me closely followed by "Live and let die" and "You only live twice".
( as a side, Connery followed closely by Moore! ) |

"We Have All The Time In The World", although Lazenby is my least favourite Bond - even David Niven was better.... I do have a soft spot for "Tomorrow Never Dies" since Sheryl Crow sang it and I've always liked her material. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
