I have been travelling about much of this week, and it hasd been a delight to have Radio 2 on from approx 2pm until 5pm+.
For me Alice Richardson and Stuart Maconie have done sterling work. Even the interviews are live!
Much to a chorus of disapproval, I commend these 2 for the permanent spot in this period. _________________ Geddon

Nice note.
Of course Richard Allinson should be promoted to take over say Steve Wright's Big Show.
Sadly Lesley Douglas does NOT agree-as far as SM is concerned I feel he is more suited to late time radio imho.
No doubt others will disagree.
Allinson rocks-you bet he does. |

Completely agree Mark. Richard has shown how to do a three hour afternoon show properly. No shouty-shouty, no jabbering syncophants, no colossal ego.
If only he could replace the the cringing mediocrity that is the Eighties Essex Boy _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

If only what we had this week could be the permanent afternoon schedule. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

It's been a real treat to have them both this week.

Could not agree more Helen.
The afternoon combination of Richard Allinson followed by Stuart Maconie is just fantatic-should be made a permanent arrangement. |

Even had RA on in place of Mo this morning - made my drive into work more bearable! _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
