For the past thirty minutes at least...through the end of Mark Lamarr, the news with Fran Godfrey and Bob Dylan's show, there has been a snap sort of crackle over my FM, DAB and even online reception of Radio 2. I presume the whole country is having this problem?
No over BBC station (or indeed any other station) appears to be affected. It seems to be getting worse.
Has anyone ever known this happen before? It's weird. Maybe Janice will explain, lol.

Nick,
Can't help. I was watching John Lennon on Sky Arts. The Imagine film 'Gimme Some Truth'.

Janice & Fran did indeed explain in response to me e-mailing her.
Apparently one of the studios keeps breaking down and no-one knows what's wrong with it or how to fix it.
Right...bed time.

There was apparently a spectacular lightning storm over the south east last night - although we saw nothing up here and escaped the rain many people had as well, there was quite a lot of flickering by our lights indicating the national grid was perhaps under pressure - and that might have had an effect. _________________ Ron |
