There, Isn't that a lot better? Shame that tomorrow afternoon grim normality returns to the afternoons. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Alex is all right but the sports guy is annoying & the jukebox thing is a bit like a self assembly holiday slot cover straight from an imported kit store. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

It was a pleasure hearing Alex Lester on daytime Radio 2 (after about a million years of him being in the darkness).
Is there any chance his show could be moved to 4.00 - 7.30am weekdays? |

Always good to hear Alex on during the day but it all seemed a little flat to me. Did someone sedate Alex before the show-? It was probably the entire weekend of non-stop anticipation in the rain and that I was ironing a mountain of clobber too but the first three tracks left me near suicidal, in fact the first hour was just plain awful music-wise, it all improved in the second hour and then by the last hour Alex seemed more himself but still not sounding like he does normally- some really odd music choices too. It was a nice ending though to a spectacularly dull weekend. |
