That's not the most direct link to the relevant page, nor is it the world's most user-friendly, interesting or informative radio website.
8 til 12 on a Friday evening is not exactly over-working, but I suppose the voiceovers she does keep the wolf from the door.
She came to Radio 1 after I'd decamped to R2. However she does have a nice voice (and face), and she didn't fare too badly on Celebrity Big Brother, where she acted as Mother of the House. More than that I cannot say. _________________ Ron

On Magic the DJ only speaks for about 3 or 4 links per hour. Most of the music is played back to back so you can probably watch tv or read a good book in between links. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

The sort of radio station I avoid. I like to be told what music I've just heard, especially these days when singles are 'here today, gone tomorrow' before they've had chance to really lodge themselves in your memory. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

You will know all the music played on Magic already. They rarely play new songs. Magic exists as background entertainment for people doing other things or as the least offensive music station for public places, cafes, taxis, etc. which dont want to annoy customers. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Reading a book at home? Most of the evening stuff is voice tracked so it's up to the tec staff to leave the equipment running.. Only the daytime stuff is mostly live. |

Personally I think the old Radio 2 DJ's were a lot better. Steve Madden and co. But maybe thats just me. I never could really warm to Janice Long in particular. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Shame they can't have someone live after Midnight? Maybe they would fall asleep at the desk and we would hear silence. Where can we find the figures for the Number One station in London up to Midnight? Sorry wrote the City in Red, as people must have their own Number One overnight station in their area? |
