Who is your favourite traffic girl on BBC Radio 2.
I really like Sally and Bobbi. I think Sally has a great sense of humour-does not take herself too seriously, and is able to join in the banter with the presenters easily, and is certainly able to hold her own/gives as good as she gets. Sally makes me laugh with some of her quick witted comments.
Bobbi is a bit quieter but again has a good sense of humour and joins in the banter very easily. I hope she gets promoted and takes over from the undernoted soon.
Re Lynn Bowles I really don't like this woman. She has a massive ego (me me me me etc) and she thinks she is so important. I cringe when I hear her trying to join in the banter with the presenters-she seems to always have to say something just for the sake of it-its if she is forcing herself on those around her all the time.

They're all great fun Mark, if I had to plump for a favourite though: I'd go for Lynn.. shopping and shoe-talk with her must be a blast, she has an up front no-nonsense style, defo...... one of the girls.... |

I like Lynn Bowles, she seems like a nice person and pronouciations are spot on. |

Lyn's growing on me, and seems nice. I quite like Bobbi but she can be a bit clever at times. But I don't like Sally - she's the one with the real ego and all that ''ooh-er'' stuff is tiresome. |

There is a discussion over on the POV board regarding Lynn. I do think Mark has been influenced badly about Lynn. I don't know if they are his true honest words?
I think all of them have there own qualities and if they weren't any good they wouldn't be broadcasting on a national station. It's good to have Traffic reporters getting involved with a little banter with the presenters. |

Mark O-I'm certainly NOT influenced by any posts over the POV regarding Lynn Bowles. |

I'm not so worried about their interaction with the presenter of the moment.
The pre-requisite of someone reading traffic and travel news should be that they speak clearly and be easily understood. Bobbi Pryor gabbles and swallows words, so that you sometimes can't tell whereabouts the problem is, so she's a distant third on that account. _________________ Ron |

I like them all, but Lynn is definitely my favourite. Bobbi is a bit too shy and reserved at times and Sally can be a bit spikey and over-sensitive, but they're all great fun in their own ways. |

When Ken Bruce puts Lynn Bowles in her place with a quip, it reminds me of Groucho Marx doing the same thing to Margaret Dumont in the Marx Brothers films. Lynn doesn't seem to have much of a sense of humour. |

Oh I don't know, I tink Lynn has a good sense of humour and always has a good retort to Ken's quips. |
