I presume this means Russell Brand won't be moving to weekday afternoons then? |

Yes, folks, living proof that the Steve Wright Show could get even worse.
Maybe we should be thankful for small mercies? _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

So is the man from Scotland. It was nice to hear Sarah back last Wednesday.
John Marsh probably will be back whilst Mr Voice of the balls takes some time off as he's been on over the festive period a lot.
So normal menu resumes.. |

Hurrah !!!!. It's nice to have a break from routine but a 2 week Bank Holiday with so many 2nd rate fill-ins and repeats is too much.
Why can't we have some 'specials' for Bank Holidays, and not just 2nd hand ?
As you said it's like a RSL with a temporary licence |

Yes I sure did Apart from Richard Allinson ( for Hammond which was bizzare, or a change of heart ) Aled Jones and Sarah for the part of last week and bob harris on drive home was the rest worth much of a listen? |

Lisa Tarbuck was worth a listen, certainly a break from JV & SW, but apart from that not much to switch on for |

I did dip in a few times, and found her comfortable to the ear, but average stand in to get her feet ready for anymore stand ins. |

I love it.
As Russell Brand isn't a stand in, do you think he should be told to sit down now? _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Ernie-Monday 7th Jan.
Over the past few weeks my dial has been on Virgin/Planet Rock/BFBS during weekdays apart of course listening in to Richard Allinson on BBC Radio 2 over the festive period. Virgin/Planet Rock/BFBS play music and have presenters who are far more to my taste than Radio 2.
I could not care less the regulars incumbents are returning this week as I won't be listening.
My Radio 2 listening is very narrow/limited these days-Saturday afternoons/early evenings and Specialist programmes such as Simon Mayo, Suzi Q, Steve Harley, Paul Jones and the odd documentary. Sundays is just Johnnie Walker. Indeed I can't see my listening habits changing going forward that much either.
Happy New Year to You. |
