With all due respect and no wish on my part to hurt feelings, Iain Smith has been known to present speculation as fact, so I would like to know if this can be verified by somebody else.
But assuming this is true, I remember Paul O'Grady sitting in for Elaine Page very ably so I would think he would do well presenting similar repertoire in this slot.
Wil EP be moved to another slot or gracefully step down from presentation?
Ian. |

I think I heard a bit of it Ian.
Maybe Elaine is going back to a musical/threatre role so can't present for a while?

I'm not impressed with your reporting iain, always at half-cock as they say.
Officially,
Paul O'Grady sits in for Elaine Paige for three weeks from 13 Jan. Celebrating the best of Broadway, Hollywood and the West End, he also plays his favourite songs from some of Britain's "lost" stage musicals.

At least he gets half of it right. The other half was his own idea.

Ah, that's better
Did he do it live last time? I remember the great thing about (shy and retiring) John Barrowman's stand-in shows was the real time interaction with listeners. |

I expect Elaine Paige is collecting royalties from the Two Ronnies episodes she guested on - ITV3 repeated these through Christmas week. _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.

Is there any chance Paul O'Grady can be made the permanent host? Elaine Paige could read the travel news! |
