If you want Christmas songs old and new 'listen again'. They are all there, cheesy some may be but it was great!
Even made chopping onions and chestnuts seem not such a chore!

PS Much better than Maconie who sounded very flat and pre recorded which it was. _________________ 88 - 91 FM this is Radio 2 from the BBC!

I don't hear him that much either. Since Stuart's time change though it's a bit more frequent.

I agree - Stuart seems to have a buzz when broadcasting live which is sadlly missing when pre-recorded. Even though I was only catching bits of it, I could tell immediately it wasn't live. The lack of emails also gave it away.
Still it was a whole lot better than the dire stuff which had been on just before. Spice Girls and Russell Brand. A regular ego-fest. Whoever thought a live broadcast of the Spice Girls singing was a go-er needs a reality check. The only time these posers sound even half decent is when a lot of studio make-over time has gone into it. And the interview .... well. Their chatter was inane ten years ago - and now it borders on the manic! |
