Mo Dutta is excellent! It's high time he was promoted to a weekday slot!
How about 6.00 - 7.30am?
Or 2.00 - 5.00pm?
Or 5.00 - 7.00pm?!

From the response so far, I'd keep him to 3-6am |

Why is a weekday slot a promotion?
Saturday and Sunday are the best days of the week, it's what most people of working age live for! The most expensive presenter on R2 has a Saturday show for that very reason. Mo is fantastico at the weekends why would he want to join the radio equivelent of homes under the hammer? Mo is just fine where he is! You'll never make a Radio Station Controller, Scott. |

Rachel, I would be the next best thing since Matthew Bannister! |

Sorry I am not a fan of either Mo Dutta or the terrible Pete Mitchell-hopefully they will get head hunted by other radio stations soon. |

Sorry you don't enjoy them, Mark. I must confess that Mo's chat with Jim Bacon (a contestant on Mo's Saturday Quiz) this morning was somewhat Sarah Kennedy-esque! |

Hi Scott-yes I agree.
The problem I have with Mo is that he justs talks for the sake of it-I just wish he would play more music-that's why I listen to the radio.
On The Pete Mitchell front the guy strikes me as "just not interested" in what he's doing-he shows zero passion for broadcasting imho-perhaps the graveyard slot is not to his liking. |

Agreed. I don't don't get where Pete Mitchell is coming from at all. He has zero persona or charisma and sounds like he's just filling in. I don't really get an impression of him having any real passion for the music he's playing either, let alone having a passion for broadcasting. Strange guy - and I wish he'd learn how to speak in proper sentences without all the ums and ahs, as well. We all do it, I suppose, but we're not all broadcasters! |

Fred-Perhaps Mitchell needs to leave and find another employer-I'm sure he could be so much better-he is just not motivated working on Radio 2. |

I would much rather hear true professionals like Pete Mitchell on Radio 2 as opposed to egotistic loudmouths like Chris Evans, Dermot O'Leary, Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross. |

Can I just say that that picture of Chris Evans and Danny Baker makes me cringe every time I see it? I'm sure they are lovely guys and really nice to their grannies, but their on-air sound represents just what I don't want from Radio 2, and the picture matches their on-air sound perfectly!
Thank you. I feel better already. |
