|
|
More than half of new jobs created under Labour since 1997 have gone to foreign workers, it has emerged.
The government had previously claimed that most new jobs in Britain had gone to British workers.

The government seem to be getting the figures wrong again as there are 1.5 Million foreign workers in the UK.
No wonder min wage wont go up over £6 an hour. These workers come over here seeing the big lights and hard cash after they only earn that in a month in their countries we have no hope to increase the wages. I feel sorry for new borns when they grow up. |

Is your broadband connection a bit slow, Mark? This was featured on Radio 2 this morning even whilst Bunty was doing her thang, then it was on BBC Breakfast (TV), then at various intervals during the day. Wakey wakey! |

Yes it may have been, but not on here. What you trying to say shut down this forum because it's reported on Radio 2 and TV? You have been warned to stop harrassing me with your remarks, obviously your not reading them. Please stop being big headed and a no it all.

Can we believe anything put out by this government?
It's about time we put a stop to immigration and kicked some of our own lazy bastards into work! _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Maybe so but the one I employed wasn't.
The lazy attitude amongst some young people amazes me, ( I accept not all ) even compared to when I was young and employed in my first job. Some seem to want everything in terms of luxury goods but don't want to work for it. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Know, not at awl. But why just search for stuff on other more popular websites and then just copy it and paste it here? It doesn't make sense and is a waste of a forum.

So you are trying to take the forum away from others on here who are interested in discussing News items, because you think it's a waste of a forum? If your not interested then why add your comments? Your just wasting your time and effort whilst others are not. |

I have no problem with Mark pasting these stories. I've heard all the stories on Radio 2 today yes, but with Mark's links, I can at least read them through to refresh my mind on the facts.
Paste away Mark! _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

One click to the BBC homepage or some mainstream news aggregator does a more efficient (and less time-consuming) job! It seems such a waste of precious MySQL space to re-post old stories. |

I don't get much time to listen to, or watch, the news, usually just the 7 and 8 am radio casts, then in the pm I usually read the news on the Internet, so I agree Mark is doing us a great favour. |

The quickest way to get a news feed is to use an RSS Feed Aggregator - the BBC site is now littered with RSS feeds. And then there's the BBC desktop alert - though it's only of use to people using Windoze, I'm afraid. |
