Hello-Just a quick question please for regular listeners tuning into various BBC Radio 2 Shows please weekdays and weekends.
Please advise which presenters on a regular basis advise "Thank you for Choosing BBC Radio 2 Today".
I would be intrigued by your answers.
Thank you in anticipation.

I don't know of any using that exact phrase, but Jeremy Vine, Steve Wright and Chris Evans often thank the listeners for tuning in.
But that specific phrase sounds like a very smarmy ILR thing to say - as if they have to schmooze the audience so they stick around for the ads. |

If I heard anyone saying that phrase, Mark, I'd immediately go off them. It sounds corny, smarmy and forced all at the same time, IMHO.
It also sounds like one of those automated voices you get when you ring up a large institution such as a bank, etc. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
