|
|
I was looking back over some postings that I'd put on around the turn of the year. One of them featured some predictions.
1. R2 would bring back Legends of Light Music to compensate for the impending loss of Brian Kay's Light Programme on R3.
2. Roger Royle would continue on Sunday Half Hour and might go up to an hour.
3. Brian Matthew wouldn't return to SOTS.
Not one of these three came to pass (happily, in the case of no 3).
I don't think I missed my vocation as an astrologer!

I do think astrologer with Russell Grant needs to be sorted out proper. It's so rushed. |

Russell Grant never actually predicts anything. He just sounds vague and talks in generalities. Perfect for the Steve Wright show _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Ian, that's the perfect track record for any of the current crop of 'celeb' astrologers. I'm already on record on this forum for declaring that they're nothing but a bunch of charlatans based on dodgy beliefs. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I agree Cherskiy,
But given that if SW is going to have an astrologer on, he should show them some common decency and not squeeze them into the last few minutes.
I find that really rude but I suppose it's like the oldies really, no respect for them either |

I think that's verging into 'camel through eye of needle' territory.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

One of my favourite Old Moore predictions of many years ago was 'a famous person will die this month.'
And guess what? Somebody did.
