I must say that Sarah Kennedy brought a smile to my face this morning when she told us about how she tried to persuade a call centre worker to tune into her show. She was checking her bank balance (huge I guess!) and she got chatting to the guy at the other end of the line about what time he got up at in the morning. Eventually he recognised her name and voice and said something like "I wondered where she was now"

It's not a bad plan Ernie! If the guy at the bank tells 20 of his friends/family/customers to listen in, and then those twenty folk each tell twenty more and so on, it would take just a week or so to get the entire nation to listen... Brilliant! |

Bet she'd have had a thromby if the call centre had been in Mumbai! _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.

wonder if the poor guy was subjected to her full repertoire of bloomin' animal noises down the phone?
could she have a conversation without them? _________________ "Timpani!, Timpani!, They've all got it Timpani!"- All drummers know the pain of skin trouble. |

If she gave him a blast of the bagpipes the guy could sue the company for inhumane suffering. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
