Hey, what a great start to a Thursday!!! I don't mean this to be another RA thread but great show. Loved hearing "you make lving fun" as the last song then after news, Johnny played "Thunder on the mountain" by Dylan - Turn your radio up indeed!
And has anyone heard how Johnny revs up his "posse" - my goodness, has dedicoat has some red bull!!
that's the way to do it, listen up Wrighty and Evans!!
Great start R2. _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

That's what I was saying the other day Andy, Deadly seems to go completely hyper when Johnnie is on.
I can't stand Bob Dylan though, the man hasn't a note in his head, not any note I know of anyway. |

I can't say I like Richard Allinson at all... but, what a simply superb host Johnnie Walker makes. I really wish he was on the breakfast show every day.
His style and addictive laughter makes my morning.
Walker and Wright, surely the very, very best dj's around..... |

It would be brilliant to start every day with Richard Allinson on the Dawn Patrol Show.
Have really enjoyed his stint this week.
Interestingly I fill the void between 7.31 am and 8.59pm listening to JW who has also be quite good (I like the music he plays) and then I tune into Richard Allinson again at 9am on BFBS to hear Richard deliver a totally different show for 2 hours-Richard is certainly a very versatile presenter.
Sadly I will tune into something else first thing in the morning next week when Sarah Kennedy returns.
Is JW sitting in for Terry Wogan next week as well. |

It has been fantastic this week. Alex, Richard and Johnnie. A different start to the day.
In the words of Bill Murray on the last morning of Groundhog Day.

It's great though, really woke me up on the way to work and put a smile into my day! Don't want t o bring up Terry replacement threads but Johnny, you'd be welcome.
Mark, I'm pretty much the same with the BFBS. _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

Yes it has been a welcome start to the day - much better than the normal fare. And hearing Bob Dylan was good too. My favourite Dylan album is Planet Waves - masterful. Not a tune in his head? Nonsense. |

I don't know how anyone can say he's a good singer, his writing is excellent but his singing sounds like a cat with stomach ache.
Can't say I've really taken to RA on dawn patrol, Johnnie is ok though, he just needs to give Deadly a chill pill |

I think that's sound advice from Santa - you can pick up all kinds of bugs these days from abroad. Throw a sicky BB _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |
