Is he playing gigs over there or doing something else? He has been gone now for a couple of weeks.
Maybe he won the Radio 2 employee of the month competition. 2nd prize was a trip on a cruise ship. I wonder who got that one? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I'll guess at Sarah Kennedy going on the cruise ship. _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.

I listened in for about 10 minutes and had to switch off. Sounded like an Idiot on the radio.
Pete Mitchell show on Listen again was good. |

Nope, Mr Bruce won that one, Sarah won the third prize of an all expenses paid days at the races.
As I said before, nice work if you can get it. |

Hopefully it was a *one-way* trip to Hawaii....

When will Radio 2 realise that the listeners don't want this type of Saturday night radio on the 88291 wave band? |

Mark O-Could not agree more.
Have tried to listen in a few times to this Saturday night show-all I can say it's dreadful-Brand plays even less music than Dutta. |

I still dont think he is right for Radio 2 but a half hour late night weekday comedy slot would be ok by me. Maybe Douglas can squeeze him in round midnight some Wednesday or Thursday night. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Sad.
You don't know what you are missing.
Still keep your torch shining for Steve Wright. |

I mean no offence really Mark, I just don't see what you find so fascinating about old Alice... he's ok, my wife likes him, says he's harmless. But entertaining like old Stevie Mega bright Wright? no way...
still, enjoy your week... |

Hang on - isn't comedy supposed to be funny?
Ah - but on the other hand most of the radio2 comedy programmes aren't funny so perhaps you're right! |
