My mum was a Session Drummer in the 70s and 80s.. some of her stuff can be heard on the early Dire Straits Albums (DS and MM- although never credited), although she only played with the band on stage once, in the really early days..... I've asked her to send me some pictures .....

My mum's name ... (we only use first names ) is Dorothy.... she had some funny shortened nick-name back in those days though ... Dauf ... something like that... I'll ask her at the weekend:)...she did quite a bit with them in the early days .... tis her claim to fame .... although the knee replacements she's just had have taken the edge of her rockchick image ... but she still rocks and still drums now and again at 68 |

I got modded on the POV board for slagging off Sinitta's performance on 'Grease Is The Word'.
I'm guessing that this ex-girlfriend of David Essex's and Simon Cowell's must be Lugless Douglas's newest signing. _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.
