The C of E have issued a book of "Green Commandments". Isnt this the same religion that believes that God sent plagues & floods to punish people for deviating from their faith.
Any anyway since the 2nd coming will not be very environmentally friendly in all likelyhood, what is the point of these commandments? Is the Church now siding with science vs God? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Any idea what they are?
Thou shall not leave your TV on stand-by.
Thou shall not drive a 4x4.
Honour your wind turbine and your solar panel.

Thou shalt have no other gods but recycling.
Honour thy District Council's Environmental Services Department.
Remember to keep the collection day holy.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wind turbine.
Keep them coming!

Thou shalt not break thy neighbours wind turbine, even though it is noisy and serves no useful purpose.
Thou shalt not put your rubbish in your neighbours bin. _________________ Geddon

And Lo!
God looked upon the pesky neighbour, and said:
'Ye bonfires may be a traditional method of disposing of garden wastes, but burning garden waste produces smoke which contains carbon monoxide and toxic fumes'
God saw it was not good.
Therefore, she was not best pleased-eth - For lo! Smoke also ruined her enjoyment of her small garden, prevented her windows being opened and mak-ethed a mess of her knickers and other washing on the line. _________________ Eternal nothingness is fine if you happen to be dressed for it. |
