Come on Wrighty.... any chance of some different guests on the show? Must be Ricky Gervais' turn again soon.
What the hell is wrong with the programme controller and producers to allow a continually re-cycled guest list like this. It's totally ridiculous!
Or do the BBC really take us for such fools, that they think we either won't notice or care that they're churning out the same old fodder?

It's almost as if there is a 'playlist' for the celebs. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

The same few celebs obviously have good PR agents who get them seen and heard when they're pushing the latest product.

Its a back scratching thing. Wright needs interview fodder to fill the gaps between his "witty observations" and the celebs are always plugging something. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

You could be right there, Cher...
If that's the case, are Ken Livingstone and Ricky Gervais the guest equivalent of Mika and Stefy???

I travel through 7 different counties Ella, so I'm stuck with the "muppet".
Otherwise, I'd spend all afternoon re-tuning my radio and probably causing lots of nasty accidents.
Sally Boazman would be terribly upset and have to spank me.........Hmm, I'm seeing an up-side here! _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

At least Ricky Gervais and Ben Elton may say something I can relate to, or make me laugh. WTF do I care about the mayor of London? Will he have the mayor of Chorley on one day? No, of course not.
Hopefully, Wrighty's just getting ready for a job on local radio |

Out of the media spotlight, cuddly Ken is actually really nice and humorous chap. I actually think he's more interesting than either Ben Elton or Ricky Gervais. Although I respect what the latter have done (a lot, in my opinion) I think it's important that our politicians are given the chance to talk about their work and their lives.

I remember a very interesting non political interview with Ken Livingstone. I forget which radio station it was on (It was some years ago now) One part I remember was about his garden and how he has two ponds in it, one totally populated by mother nature (i.e no fish in it) with such things as the very rare great crested newt. While it might sound boring, I remember it being a very good listen. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

He's a bit of a reptile fan, is old Ken - maybe we should introduce him to one or two DJ's? _________________ Eternal nothingness is fine if you happen to be dressed for it. |
