Is it a little strange. Richard Allinson is currently on a 2 week break/holiday from BFBS Radio 2.
However on Good Friday and Easter Monday Richard is scheduled to cover for Terry Wogan presenting the breakfast show.
I do hope Richard will be broadcasting live this coming Friday and Monday.
I believe Richard is due to present Allinsons Albums on BBC Radio Oxford this coming Saturday 7/4 as well-it just strikes me as strange to work part of your holiday-I wonder what's going on. |

So where do you reckon he is? Maybe BFBS sent him abroad to an army base? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Maybe the poor bloke is having a break, but was contracted to supply cover for the Easter slots anyway. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Because he's on holiday doesn't mean he's flying anywhere. He needs to spend sometime with his boys and missus. |

Who mentioned flying away anywhere? I sometimes take a week off and just stay at home - it's the break that counts. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I certainly won't be having a lie in.
Will set the alarm early to ensure I get up to hear the best dj/presenter on the planet. Ditto for Easter Monday as well-think Richard starts at 7am on this day.
Bring it on Richard Allinson. |

So you admit that there may be better DJ's on other planets? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Not in my world Ernie.
Richard is the best dj for me anywhere-that includes the whole universe for the avoidance of doubt.
I am already suffering withdrawal symptons as Richard is not on BFBS this week or next. My day is just not the same. |

Thargoid Zzanzzyx, the breakfast DJ on Radio Jupiter is brilliant - Lesley should sign him up right away...... _________________ "....you're wearing a plywood bow tie with Dundee United on it?" |

but is he on the telly, or represented by either Noel Gay or John Noel? If not, he can't play. _________________ Geddon
