|
|
According to BBC 3CR MB and UKRadio forum DLT has been dropped from his Sunday show.
He announced this on air:
He made it very clear that it was not his choice to be leaving the station, and sounded very unhappy about another totaly stupid decision that has been made from 3CR management.
Yet another chapter in his BBC P45 history. |

BBC Three Counties Radio
Covers Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire.
I drive through their area to get where i'm going every day.
I've listened sometimes when passing if SW is doing my head in.... can't say I've ever been inspired by it though. _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

Thanks PJ! I didn't realise DLT worked for the Beeb at all.
I admit to liking him in the Radio 1 days, more so when he did his Sunday show, I liked his sense of humour.
As mentioned elsewhere, I think you like DJ's you feel you would get on with over a drink at the bar.
Plus he likes old American muscle cars... |

Me too. It was a good laugh when he got a little irate with some of the contestants from the pubs and the format of the quiz worked too.
Let's have him on Radio 2 Lesley.... go on.... |

Agree with the above, Santa - I would love to have DLT at Radio 2 but the way we're going that's not going to happen. _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

Your welcome Santa Fe.
I liked his R1 Sunday show too... I hope his sense of humour hasn't changed.
It would be interesting to hear how his shows sound nowadays.

The same as ever. On local radio he comes across with the attitude: "I'm only doing local radio until I'm recalled to my rightful place on Radio One".
His previous fun-packed breakfast show on Classic Gold was appalling.

Thanks Ella,
Maybe I'll pass then.
If the daytime shows I've heard bits of are anything to go by, it seems the weekends aren't much better. _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

Always one for the melodrama is DLT. Can you imagine him in a shop that had just sold out of something? He would probably have a hissy fit all around him _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

My mate being who exactly? If you guys cant deal with opinions that differ from yours then I would suggest that you are not as grown up and mature as you claim to be. I always suspect people that have to keep banging on about how mature they are have must have something to prove. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
