So says Ian Wright...he is a very optimistic man....after today's match in Lithuania...
Myself ...well, I won't exactly counting the days until their first kick off.
Disappointingly Scotland are out. |

It will be the usual story - qualifying for the finals easily but then bottling it when they meet some even half decent teams
Looking on the bright side however I think we might have a decent chance in 2022 and certainly 2026 as we have some proven successful youngsters coming through - I just hope the money obsessed Premier League clubs give them a decent chance _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Hopefully, not sounding too cynical, ruddles,I'll believe it when I see it.
We had a 'golden generation' (coined by Adam Crozier and some of the media) of English footballers a while back who didn't fulfil their promise.
Meanwhile a real 'golden' boy' (Sir Bobby Charlton) of football turns 80 this week.
Happy Birthday to him! |

Ian Wright is a complete moron who really shouldn't be a pundit. He is always utterly unable to express himself properly and he merely repeats the views of others.
As for Ingerland winning the World Cup, oh dear....
I suppose to quote Zager and Evans, In The Year 2525 possibly. |
