With in-laws coming to stay next week, I have been cooking all day to stock up the freezer. Over-liberal use of a new brand of chilli powder rendered the chilli con carne breathtakingly hot. Too tired to go back to the shops to buy more mince and beans to tone it down, I googled "chilli too hot" and came up with a solution - the addition of yoghourt and sugar. It worked!
I can't imagine how we ever managed without it, and wondered what weird solutions/assistance others have obtained this way. |

we probably all had much better lives......
This damn pc is taking over mine and I spend far too much time posting, bidding and googling things I normally wouldn't give a monkey about ( apart from Chris Evans ) and bidding on stuff I can't afford or want.
Now where was I.... |

Thanks to the internet, many people who are in business (such as those who belong to the Sailyour dynasty) now don't have to get out of bed in order to earn money! In fact, knowing that money is going in the bank whilst you sit in bed reading the papers and having Jeeves bring you coffee and croissants is my idea of living.
It's quite amazing how much you can earn by having 10 active eCommerce websites on the go. I love it.

I had to smile about the bubblewrap
I have tons of the stuff!
I've bought a lot of stuff from the states over Ebay and of course it comes with loads of styrofoam peanuts and bubblewrap and I've kept it all "in case" I sell some of my stuff.
I was going to dispose of the peanuts but have you seen the price of a bag?? it's expensive!
maybe I could sell the peanuts on Ebay..... |

Did you play the song Santa, it is really funny, if you didn't you have to double click on the play button in the small window above the words to the song. I like the bit about Shatner's toupee.
