I read today that Ronnie Carroll who twice represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest, 1962 and 63, died on Monday. He was 80.
He was standing at the forthcoming election for the Rainbow Alliance so of course his name is on ballot papers.

I remember the track 'Say Wonderful Things To Me' I think that was one of his Eurovision entries - can't recall the other one just now - a great singer from what seems now like a bygone era _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Yes that was the '63 entry and it came 4th. The entries back then had, on the whole, memorable melodies and I remember hearing it a lot.
I can't recall the other one either Ruddles!
