Turned the radio on at 0735 this morning to hear a faintly familiar Scots accent on R2. Sally Magnusson was sitting in for Aled. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I bet she doesn't pull tracks half way through, like some - 'she'll start so she'll finish'

I must admit her playlist was slightly different to what we hear when Aled is presenting. |

She is very professional in a low key way, allowing the guests to speak as opposed to pushing her own personality to the fore. Isn't she a news presenter on BBC Scotland now? I suspect if she was willing to live down South, BBC network radio would use her more.
Well done to Radio 2 for using her as cover for Aled. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
