LibDem Danny "not long out of short trousers and never had a real job outside of politics" Alexander making a desperate pre-conference pitch to the blue-rinse, handbag-swinging, Daily Mail readership (where he's guaranteed to get good coverage when having a go at so-called tax dodgers) with an "initiative" that's so ill-conceived and badly timed that it's laughable. Why wasn't this a priority coalition policy at the time of the coalition's formation? Because the Tories would rather not get involved, that's why!
Does the Liberal Democrat party have any credibility at all these days? We'll see at the next General Election. |

They will have to pull away from the Coalition before the next General Election. Liberal Democrats need to be there own party and not sit behind the Tories. |
