I'm really enjoying listening to Alex. Far more unpredictable than Ken. Terry and Alex had a very good exchange today
Paraphrase:
Terry "anyone seen Alex Lester, he's on next you know"
Then he played Big Bopper and joked "Ah, here he is another Big Bopper and with a pony tail"

While I have been enjoying Alex, he was very very "Smashy & Nicey" during Popmaster. Give me Ken anytime. |

Actually, I can just imagine him putting BTO on afterwards and saying "Let's Rock....!" _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Reading the previous posts I think Alex 'on fire', sounds like an improvement. Anyway I don't think Listen Again is an attractive alternative to my iPod. _________________ Yours Sincerely

Today's Popmaster was somewhat bizzare - husband and wife against each other.
I think Alex was not sure if they were having him on. _________________ Over the hill they came....the greatest Army in the World.....The Tartan Army |

Yeah it was a little odd having a couple....Highlander, but fun .....
it was a real love fest yesterday....... I missed the last hour though ....... it's quite annoying when work gets in the way of listening to Alex. |

Yes, the Odd Couple
Anyway, back to "normal" today. He has grown on me. I'm too much of an Owl rather than an Early bird to here him through the night. _________________ Over the hill they came....the greatest Army in the World.....The Tartan Army |

Oh it's nothing dodgy..
I record the show onto my MP3 player at home , direct off-air... the only problem with that is I have to start recording when I go to bed at 9:30/22:00 ish and stop at 06:00 so the file is 8.5 hrs long .... even with a FF speed of x32 it takes a wee while to get to the start of the show....and it's REALLY frustrating if I accidently press stop rather than pause, when I have to leave my desk for a while....
That's real dedication that is ............. you can't buy that ... |

Alex has a house in Hastings, so he must have stayed there Wednesday night. It should be an easy journey by train, about an hour and a half and much faster than driving to London. I noticed because he mentioned the delay to the service due to derailment, which was also mentioned on my local radio travel news. |
