Well at least we didn't make the mistake of accidentally wandering into the 'abuse' room Santa
Funnily enough I was in my local pet shop today but I was rather disappointed that there was a complete lack of parrots - deceased or otherwise _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

ruddlecat, I think your problem is that you haven't understood the USEFULNESS of texting.
Texting is useful for AVOIDING stressful communication.
OK if someone needs to talk to you urgently then by all means call, or you feel the need for a polite personal chat, then call.
Most other communications texting is ideal. It might be about times to meet, flight numbers, bus times, 'where I am now info', I'll get there... info, or a link to a restuarant menu etc etc. Not urgent just LETTING YOU KNOW kind of thing, and the bonus is you can save the messages so the information is stored, i.e. you don't HAVE TO remember what the information was, don't need to fill your brain, just remember the message was saved and you can check it again later.
So often I hear Mrs W on the phone saying to our daughter 'why are phoning me, just send me a text!'. _________________ -
