I can't make my mind up if it's annoying that JV occupies 5 minutes of Kens show at 11:30 everyday when I don't listen to JV's show or it's a good laugh as Ken makes fun of JV and his topics.
What do you think ? |

I'm all for the ridiculing approach. Plus it warns you off, just in case you were tempted into thinking the show had improved. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west.....

It's the few minutes of Steve Wright & The Ginger whinger in that 'Elvis' trailer that I couldn't take. A timely reminder to switch over (Lest I forget) because those shows definitely haven't improved and are unlikely to short of a change of presenter. |

The 5 minutes with Ken is more entertaining than Jeremy's whole show. Ken just cuts straight to the heart of every story, and does it brilliantly. |

It depends what the topic is. Sometimes it can be very entertaining. I just loved the day last year when the topic was caravans (a subject close to Ken Bruce's heart!) Jeremy had a guest who was an anti caravan campaigner, while one of his callers was a very keen caravaner. The exchanges were very entertaining indeed! |

Well he's certainly better value than Wossy or CE, I have never heard either play anything as long as Stairway To Heaven without spouting over it, and/or cutting it short. Ken also has an in depth knowledge and love of rock and popular music, and just a big ego, IMHO.
