2 minutes to 9 so Terry starts to play Say You Love Me by Fleetwood Mac.
Surely he could have played an old 60's song which was 2 minutes.
He got about half way through and then faded it for the news intro.
Small point i know but timing is everything.
If you work on 3 minutes per song roughly then
you should be OK _________________ The Voice of reason in a MAD MAD world |

His usual comments when that happensare-

or
Perfection in sound. _________________ Geddon

He hasn't done this quite as much lately, but as it's always the same old over-played tracks that get faded out I'm not really bothered. |

The one I usually hear when he does that is "What?" _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Sounds like an improvement, he doesn't normally bother with the fade.
It's all part of the show. |

You get the feeling that Terry is either eating or entertaining a never ending stream of guests throughout the show when the music is playing. No wonder he doesn't want to retire. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Maybe he needs to learn how to backtrack himself? ( That is what they use ) I suppose the timings dont matter as the news can be cut slightly short, and he's always on track for the 9.30 ken hand over. |

Mo Dutta carries on talking over the pips and is still taking about 1min after the long pip before he decides to play the news jingle |

Back time I presume? Unless you are thinking off something from left field. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

This morning's casualty (there may be more) was Gary Barlow, less than 1.30 before the eight o'clock news.
I blame the production team. Surely there are trailers that long which could be used instead. _________________ Ron |

Not that wretched Wright/Evans one To me a song cut short is by far the lesser of two evils there. |

That's far too long for a Gary Barlow song. |
