The former Countryfile presenter has won her claim against the BBC for ageism. Shame that we the listeners do not also have a claim for the the ageist policies on R2.
Of course we the licence payers will have to pay the compensation that she has been awarded. |

I'm glad she won her case against the BBC; the practices of managers has been despicable in recent years and this is clearly in evidence when watching TV news (in particular). Just look at the number of Autocuties there are on the screen as opposed to seasoned journalist/presenters. |

I heard Matthew Bannister ( Ex Radio 1 Boss ) who's covering Jeremy Vine talking about this. I was waiting for a listener mentioning that he sacked Radio 1 DJ's in his time who were told they were old dinosaurs. |
