Hi I usually listen to E.P but I missed last weeks show. I've looked at the playlist but haven't bothered to listen to this one yet. May get around to it before Sunday. |

I used to listen to elaine Paige regularly, but have somehow missed it the last several weeks. It is a good show, & covers a strand of music not covered anywhere else on radio. I'll endeavour to take a listen on Sunday. |

My wife loves show music and loved Sunday's Disney special and, strange as it may seem, we both laugh when Elaine laughs ! She's completely bonkers and I think she's fab, not only that but I think I'm right in saying she's the only presenter to give away dvd/telly combos ! |

Not another Disney show?
Didnt she have one last year? Still her Christmas show should be good. There are enough good songs from Christmas shows & films to choose from. She is not on the 24th, so presumably the Xmas show is on the 17th? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Wow--this thread just got smaller!! Thanks for cleaning it up John. She's in China now so it's a good thing the next two weekends there wouldn't have been shows anyway. |

Just listened to her show from last week. The duets special was ok--some good songs. I enjoyed the Tony Bennett duet with the Dixie Chicks. |

Does anyone think Tony Bennett is as good today as he was 30 years ago vocal wise? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

So EP is going back to the stage---no announcement has been made yet about EPOS but don't you think her possible replacements might be the guys who are going to sit in for her for the next month? |

Yes for the next 2 Sundays we have Paul OGrady sitting in for EP.
Will he change anything and does he know as much as EP?
We shall have to wait and be informed.
Starts this Sunday 28th Jan |

At least he won't be playing his own songs! _________________ Geddon

Well this just proves that it is possible to find a replacement with presenting skills worse than EP. I take it Mr Ball was not available? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Apparently its two weeks of Paul O'Grady followed by two weeks of John Barrowman, another rather self absorbed individual. Good grief! _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

And they overlooked Michael Ball presumably? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Probably as a result of his stint as a judge in Actors Karaoke _________________ Geddon

I was hoping that Chuffer Dandridge would get the gig. Maybe he is resting at the moment? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I'm looking forward to hearing O'Grady--Barrowman absolutely annoys me! Please Please don't give him the show if EP leaves |
