Great to have JW back on SOTS today and what an absolutley fabulous show! From Hendrix to Danny Williams today's show had the lot, Johnnie's 50,000 mile MOT has worked wonders. A BIG welcome back to a true pro. |

Hear, hear! Fascinating to hear what the Beatles made of How Do You Do It? Intriguing also to hear Elaine and Derek in the days before Derek devoted his time to Casualty. I recall that Billy Cotton Senior acted as a champion for the young duo. Groaned when Freddie and the Dreamers' Short Shorts was announced but then found myself joining in!

Hi Guys,
I felt once again that all was well with the world on hearing Johnnie this morning!
I'm glad my memory wasn't playing tricks with me as I remembered the Billy Cotton association with Elaine and Derek. I remember was it 'Two(?) Little Robins' as being the one that made it for them.
I'd forgotten the Beatles How Do You Do It, almost cringeworthy version.

Yes it was really great to have Johnnie back on SOTS this morning. I only listened for a short while this morning, so will catch all of it afterSM, which I am listening to now. I did catch the reference to Brian and really do hope he will be back soon, a happier healthier man.
