Tory leaderc David Cameron has admited that his partty can not win an over all majority at the next general election.
He is making desperate overtures to the Liberal Democrats saying that his Tory party shares much common ground with the Lib Dems. This will no doubt cause alarm with traditional Tories. Kenneth Clarke has already said that he would rather see Labour remain in power than a hung parliament which saw the Tories in a coalition with the Lib Dems.
David Cameron is keen to woo Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg (the man who considers Osama Bin Laden someone the Lib Dems "share a world view with in many respects".) to join him in a coalition government.
In doing so David Cameron would be prepared to make Nick Clegg Foreign Secretary. Nick Clegg is a man who has publicly sympathised with Hamas suicide bombers. |
