I am not in to ranting and raving, but is anyone else tired of the Wogan and Bowles, welsh letters, and general ramblings, i really think the breakfast slot needs a refresh, its the same letters/emails every day, the old jiokes realting to the welsh, time to move on |

The flirting between Bowles and Ken Bruce is worse-it's cringe worthy.
Maybe it's time Kennedy, Wogan and Bruce were pensioned off permanently and the whole morning schedules were given a completely new makeover. |

If they put Titchmash on every morning from 9.00-12.00noon then I might listen, not to him but to the music
Let's get back to the Light Programme for the millions of 35+ folks who like good music and can't stand Simon Bates on ClassicFM, he still doesn't know anything about 'classical' music.

I was thinking more about the presenters such as Zoe Ball, Simon Mayo, Richard Allinson, Johnnie Walker etc to replace the existing incumbents.
Whilst they are about it I would bring in Bobbie Prior as a replacement for Lynn Bowles as well. |

Yes. Time for a complete shake-up to R2 Breakfast in my opinion. Much as I love and respect El Tel the show's become tiresome and he's sounding increasingly bored these days. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

If that's what you call flirting, you clearly don't listen very well!!
Ken and Lynne make a good pairing, and I hope they continue for a very long time - Zoe Ball as a replacement? No thanks. _________________ MiS |

I thought Zoe did more flirting with Lyn than Ken does! |

What MIS said. I do agree with the OP about Wogan though; it's not Lyn Bowles that grates on me but the whole predictability of it all. You just know there's going to be a minimum ten minutes plugging of CIN (as if we all didn't know about it by now) after the God slot, and the inevitable tedious contribution from "Chuffer Dandridge", which would be just about bearable if it wasn't the same crap gag every day.
I have to say that I look forward to Johnnie Walker hosting Wogan's show, in the same way that I look forward to Ken Bruce returning to his. |
