Was it just me, or did anyone else notice the intro of the Edgar Winter Group's 'Frankenstein' was cut?
By the way, I think Jonathan Woss was rude to cut off Michael Ball's 'The Impossible Dream' before POTP. Maybe he liked Jake's version better in 'Two & A Half Men' (when Jake's school did a production of 'Man Of La Mancha')! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

I'm no expert on the subject, but I do know that Frankenstein seems to exist in various lengths. After recording it, Winter hacked it about somewhat to get it to a reasonable time - in live performance it runs to about 9 minutes. The version played on PotP was 3.20 - I've heard longer, and shorter, versions.
Woss presumably needs a bit of practice to get the timings right in the new, pre-recorded form of his show. Intriguingly, Listen Again is not available for it. _________________ Ron |

My only gripe with POTP is the rock n roll years (i.e. the 50s) are not given much of a focus! |
