Shame they couldn't nick one off-air which didn't have her talking on the end!
Just think, somebody actually records hours of radio just to be able to lift this stuff and then compress it / upload it for others to drool over. Weird ol' world eh? _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

Yeah, it's great! Take a basic 12 year-old R2 jingle and a dreadful strained voiceover that sounds like someone having a poo and bingo! New EP Jingle.
Come back PAMS, all is forgiven!! _________________ Who Can Take A Sunrise, Sprinkle It With Dew... |

Weird ol' world eh? | A lot of the jingles that are recorded from broadcast are for preview purposes. Most of the jingles on JingleMad are original cuts, which means they come from the jingle companies themselves, or someone with a connection to the jingle company or broadcaster.

I wouldn't exactly say its great, but it is still a jingle and does its job as part of a package (as an individual jingle its not OK, as part of a package it is).
On this thread about Paul O` Grady I mentioned that his version of the jingle was by Groove, however I have since received information that the Paul O` Grady jingle is a re-sing of the new EP on Sunday jingle, and that both were done by Wise Buddah... that makes things worse because it is effectively copying a jingle from the main Groove package. _________________ Fred Hart

Maybe, but the one in question appears to have been lifted from an off-air recording simply because EP is talking on the end. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

Why thank you MIS ! I'm very well - apart from Radio 2 deciding to re-employ the one without the talent from the recent 'Baker and Ball' partnership! _________________ Who Can Take A Sunrise, Sprinkle It With Dew... |
